These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your communications with DC Pines LLC, doing business as DC Pines Roofing (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using this site, submitting a form, calling us, or exchanging text messages with us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms are not a construction contract. If you hire us, the written agreement you sign governs the work, the price, the payment schedule and the warranty. Where these terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls.

Website Content, Estimates and Pricing
The content on this site is general information about our services. It is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of price, availability or outcome. Any price we give becomes binding only when it is set out in a written agreement signed by both you and an authorized representative of DC Pines Roofing.
Estimates depend on an on-site inspection. Conditions that are not visible until work begins — decking damage, rot, hidden layers, code requirements — may change scope and price, and any change will be documented in writing before we proceed.
Photographs on this site are representative of our work and materials. They do not guarantee an identical result on your property.
Insurance Claims — Important Notice
We are a roofing contractor, not a public insurance adjuster. Under Texas law, a contractor may not act as a public insurance adjuster, or advertise to adjust claims, for property on which it provides or may provide contracting services. Accordingly:
- We do not negotiate, settle or handle your insurance claim.
- We do not interpret your policy or tell you what your policy covers. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance carrier.
- We do not act as your representative with your carrier.
- We cannot promise that a claim will be approved, or predict what your carrier will pay.
- We will not pay, waive, rebate, absorb or offer to cover any part of your insurance deductible.
What we do is document the condition of your property with photographs and measurements, prepare a detailed scope and estimate of the work, meet your adjuster at the property if you ask us to, and answer questions about the construction work itself. You remain responsible for filing and managing your claim, and you should direct policy and coverage questions to your carrier or a licensed public insurance adjuster.
Calls, Text Messages and Our Automated Assistant
We use an automated assistant. Some of our calls and text messages are handled by an automated, AI-powered assistant rather than a person. On calls, the assistant identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of the conversation. You may ask to speak with a person at any time.
Recording and transcription. Calls with us, including calls handled by the automated assistant, may be recorded and transcribed. If you do not want to be recorded, say so at the beginning of the call and we will continue by text or email.
Your consent. By giving us your phone number and agreeing to be contacted, you consent to receive calls and text messages from DC Pines Roofing at that number about your inquiry, estimate, appointment or project, including messages sent with automated technology and calls placed with an artificial or automated voice. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to automated or promotional calls or texts in order to receive an estimate or buy anything from us.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You may also call (832) 709-0768 or email myroofer@dcpines.com to be removed from marketing calls and texts.
Accuracy. The automated assistant can schedule appointments and answer common questions, but it does not have authority to bind us to a price, a scope of work, a warranty term or a coverage statement. Only a signed written agreement does that. If the assistant tells you something that conflicts with your written agreement, the written agreement governs.

Your Right to Cancel Under Texas Law
Texas law gives you cancellation rights in certain circumstances, and nothing in these terms waives them:
- Agreements signed at your home. If you sign an agreement with us at your residence, you generally have until midnight of the third business day after signing to cancel, under Chapter 601 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code. You will receive written notice of that right with your agreement.
- Insurance-funded residential roof work. If your agreement with us is to be paid from the proceeds of a property insurance policy, you may cancel it at any time before midnight of the fifth business day after you receive written notice from your insurer that all or any part of the claim or contract is not a covered loss, under Section 27.02 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code.
Your signed agreement contains the controlling cancellation language and the address to send a cancellation notice.
Scheduling, Site Access and Permits
Roofing work depends on weather and material availability, and dates may shift. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and to secure or remove fragile items in the work area, including items in the attic and on walls. Where a permit or homeowner association approval is required, we will identify it, and responsibility for obtaining it will be stated in your agreement.
Warranties
Workmanship warranty terms, coverage and exclusions are set out in your signed agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by the manufacturer on its own terms and are not warranties from us. Nothing on this website creates a warranty. Warranties may be voided by unauthorized alterations, third-party work on the roof system, failure to perform required maintenance, or non-payment.

Reviews and testimonials reflect the experience of individual customers and are not a guarantee of similar results. This site may link to third-party websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
Intellectual Property
The content on this site, including text, photographs, logos and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or republish it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use this site to submit false or fraudulent information, to send spam or automated submissions, to attempt to gain unauthorized access, or to interfere with the operation of the site.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This website is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in this section limits our obligations under a signed agreement for work performed, limits any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, or affects your rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and we consent to that venue.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
