- Text message content — the messages you exchange with us, along with the date, time and phone number involved.
- Technical and advertising information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and cookie or advertising identifiers collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide roofing, gutter and window services, estimates, inspections and customer support.
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about an estimate, appointment or project.
- Send appointment reminders, project updates and service notifications.
- Send promotional messages, but only if you have opted in.
- Train, monitor and improve the quality and accuracy of our phone and messaging support, including our automated assistant.
- Measure and improve our advertising, website and customer experience.
- Comply with legal, insurance, warranty and regulatory requirements.
Calls, Text Messages and Our Automated Assistant
We use an automated assistant. Some of our calls and text messages are handled by an automated, AI-powered assistant rather than a person. On calls, the assistant identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of the conversation. You can ask to speak with a person at any time, and you can always reach our team directly at (832) 709-0768.
Recording and transcription. Calls with us, including calls handled by the automated assistant, may be recorded and transcribed so we can confirm the details of your request, keep an accurate record of what was promised, and improve our service. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will continue by text or email instead.
Consent for calls and texts. When you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, you consent to receive calls and text messages from DC Pines Roofing at that number, including messages sent using automated technology and calls placed using an artificial or automated voice. Message frequency varies based on your project. Standard message and data rates may apply. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive automated or promotional calls or texts in order to buy anything from us. You can decline and still get an estimate by phone or email.
How to stop messages. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (832) 709-0768 or myroofer@dcpines.com. You can also ask us to remove your number from marketing calls and texts and we will honor that request. Full program details are in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
We do not share your mobile information for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will never share your contact information for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging and telephony providers that deliver the messages on our behalf.
Provider. Our calling and messaging, including the automated assistant, is operated using Hatch and the telephony and messaging carriers it relies on. These providers process call audio, transcripts and message content on our behalf under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will never share your contact information for marketing purposes. We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers who help us operate the business under contract — our website host, form and email tools, calling and messaging provider, CRM and scheduling systems, and advertising and analytics providers.
- Manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors where needed to order materials, register a warranty, or complete your project.
- Your insurance carrier or adjuster, at your direction, to provide documentation of damage or scope of work.
- When required by law, regulation, subpoena or legal process.
- To protect the safety, rights or property of DC Pines Roofing, our customers or others.
Advertising, Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:
- Google Ads conversion tracking — measures which ads lead to calls and form submissions.
- Google Local Services Ads — connects calls and messages from those ads to our business.
- Meta advertising — we run ads on Facebook and Instagram and may measure results and build audiences from website activity.
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects our forms from spam and is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
- Email marketing and form tools — Mailchimp and Zapier process form submissions and email signups.
- Embedded content — pages may include YouTube videos or web fonts, which load from those providers.
These advertising and analytics tools operate on website activity and advertising identifiers. We do not provide your name, phone number or email address to advertising platforms for their own marketing purposes. Depending on your state, sharing website activity with advertising platforms may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can limit ad personalization through Google My Ad Center and your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, control cookies through your browser, and use your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal where available.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to serve you, support warranties and insurance documentation, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for a limited period for quality, dispute-resolution and record-keeping purposes, then deleted or de-identified. Records of your consent and any opt-out request are retained so we can prove we honored your choice.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you.
